Vehicle history

Four of this batch of vehicles passed to Strathtay Scottish on its formation in 1985. Much later another of the batch that had stayed with Northern ended up in the fleet of Strathtay’s sister company Meffan. GSO86V SL36 was transferred to Perth and remained there until that depot closed in 1993 by this stage renumbered 536. It was one of a number of Leopards that were still in the fleet when Strathtay was bought by Stagecoach at the end of 2005 and the bus was bought directly from Strathtay by the Society when it came out of service during 2006.

In preservation

Some minor cleaning up was undertaken during 2011 although the position of the vehicle has precluded any more major work being done recently.
